Absolutely Fabulous!

IMG_2668x
Hello everyone! A couple of posts back I hinted about my love for texture, I thought I’d make a card focusing a very textured background. On the card above I have used stains to ink the background and then clear embossed it.
Thought I’d share it on the SSS challenge blog.
Will post another one tomorrow till then have a great day while I sleep soundly!

Bridal Shower Invitations!

DSC06011
Hey everyone! I got an order to make some bridal shower invitations… the one you see above is just a sample, I changed it up just by adding pale pink gems instead of the pearls on the sentiment label… I also made lavender gift bags for each invite. The sentiment is by Hero Arts.

Looks cute on the muffin too!
Hope you guys will have a great day!

I saw this gorgeous design in one of the Polish blogs (Zielonooka) and really wanted to make it with my own spin on it.
I am late in publishing this post and hence late in entering the card in the Lift challenge (Polish version of CASE Study), it is 12:21am here, so very sleepy *yawn*. Will stop by your blogs tomorrow!

Lia Stampz : Spring or Easter

IMG_2522

Hello peepz! Hope everyone is doing great! Super news! My card series (the black and turquoise one) won at CASE Study!! WOOT!

Today I bring to you a brand new challenge over at Lia Stampz, which is Spring or Easter! Here is my card using one of the popular images by Lia Stampz called “You and Me”. I absolutely looooove Lia’s images! You can find this one at Whimsy Stamps HERE.

I tried to keep it as simple as I can (by my standards) so that all the focus is on the image. I used classic Faber Castell colour pencils and for the clouds I used one of the ColorBox inks.

My cousin thought I was making a card based on the “Twilight” couple LOL It would have fit them perfectly if only I had used muted and earthy tones for the girl’s jacket!

Dearies, you have two weeks to come play with us! For more details check out the Lia Stampz blog.

P.S.: Quite a few have asked me questions regarding my cards, my business page and the products I have been using, some of you have the “no-reply” on comments so I can not get back to you. A link to my email is on the right side bar, if you haven’t heard back from me, please shoot me an email Smile

Guest Designing at The Shabby Tea Room

DSC05352
Hello everyone! A couple of months back I won at The Shabby Tea Room for THIS card and I was asked to guest design. This is really an honour for me as I love TSTR and all things shabby chic. Here is what I created for the challenge, the this week is “Oh so pretty in pink” – create a card/project using pink, ribbon/lace/tulle and a flower, here is your inspiration picture.

Because I was so very much inspired!

main
Hey there!
I have three cards to share with you today! Yes! THREE! These are part of my second card series, the first got a lot of appreciation on Flickr and hopefully I will post them here soon, but for now I was so inspired by Julie Ebersole’s inspiration piece that I went ahead and made these! I know they are nothing like hers and so very different, but I was inspired… truly inspired!

IMG_2485
I got really inky with the background and of course added the heat embossed element. Here are the cards individually.
IMG_2491
The background has been inked black, added silver heat embossed text, the butterfly is also heat embossed. I love how this one came together, I added quite a few chunky glitter here and there with different size of gems and of course my ever so favourite glitter balls.
IMG_2494
This one has the same details, inked background, heat embossed text.. I deliberately wanted that cage stamp to pop up and be part of the design hence the jet blackness! LOL
IMG_2487
Again, the same inky background, black heat embossed text background, glittered frame and heat embossed butterfly.
I am sure you can tell that I was inspired, it happens sometimes when you see just one thing and it sparks your creativity… you feel the need to bring your ideas into a physical form… I wanted to make more… oh so many more and I will. But for now I leave you with these and hopefully you will like them. Everyone likes them here, all three were sold within fifteen minutes of uploading them to my FB page! Awesome isn't it!? I feel so blessed, thank you God.
xoxo
